"Fr. Elija Vella ofm was born in St Paul's Bay,
Malta. He is a Franciscan Conventual religious. Fr. Elija graduated in
theology in 1965 from the Lateran University, Rome and has taught
theology for some years. He has written various books including
"Satana" and "Diavoli e esorcismi". Fr. Elija was the Provincial
Minister of his community between 1974 and 1986 as well as Parish Priest
of his birth town. He was nominated by the Archbishop of Malta Mgr
Joseph Mercieca as Official Exorcist of the Archdiocese of Malta.

ReplyDeleteJesus is a divine being and was never a human being. While the Son of God assumes the essence or nature of created man (i.e., humanity), He does not assume the being of created man. Who talks inside out, backwards and forwards, front to back? Who is teaching strange, distorted "Teachings" that MDM is always warning the faithful against?

Be careful in saying He wasn't a Human Being. He is fully God and Fully Human. He was like us in all things but sin. By discounting His humanity, you run the risk of falling into Sabellianism. His being, His essence is made up of a human nature and a divine nature. Unified and never mixing. One does not take away or add to the other.
Delete
