Locutions To The World

Monsignor John Esseff
Monsignor John Esseff and Mother Teresa  www.locutions.org

A series of heavenly messages given to an unknown seer have been discerned and publicized by Monsignor John Esseff, a diocesan priest of Scranton, Pennsylvania. He is currently spiritual director to "hundreds of souls", and to one special one in particular who has been receiving inner locutions from Jesus and Mary. Originally the messages were for a private prayer group, but since December 10, 2010, the messages were intended for the world. Monsignor Esseff was also spiritual director to Mother Teresa of Calcutta and traveled the world to lead retreats for her sisters as a favor to her. In 1959, Padre Pio became Monsignor Esseff's spiritual director.

As always, we approach these locutions with caution and await the decision of the Holy Catholic Church. The character, discernment, and reputation of Monsignor Esseff seem beyond reproach, but Satan has wiles to fool even the elect.

As of the writing of this article, the latest series of messages are astonishing as Jesus and Mary discuss Pope Benedict XVI's resignation, the state of the church, and the upcoming conclave. Mary and Jesus tell us in the messages that the next pope to be chosen will be a man straight from the heart of Mary; a strongly Marian pope. In light of her message at Fatima, "In the end, my Immaculate Heart will be triumphant," this has special significance.  Here is the latest message as of the date of this article, from February 27, 2013 entitled, The Messenger Pope.

Jesus
How much time has been lost. The gifts of God set aside. So many times I have spoken to my servants, the prophets. I have given them heavenly messages for all the world to hear. I entrusted these messages to my Church, my bride. To whom else would I given them? She has come forth from my side. She is the new Eve. I would not give these messages to another. I want my bride to be exalted. Yet, how haltingly she accepts my words. Years go by and she does not see the treasure lying in her very bosom. She delays and delays. She keeps hidden what should be proclaimed on the housetops.
No more. The time is too short. The need for my prophetic word is too pressing. I can no longer just send messengers. I must send a pope who himself is the messenger. To him I will speak, directly, heart to heart, even face to face. All the world will know that this pope is a prophet to the nations.
Mary
For so long I have kept this future pope in my bosom, hidden from the nations, yet called to be their light. I have trained him in my word and he has frequently brought it forth. He is no stranger to prophecy. He understands the gift. He is familiar with my voice.
Know that I am raising up much more than just a pope. I am lifting up a prophet to the nations. All the world will listen because he will not just speak a word of wisdom but a clear prophetic word. He is not shy or bashful. He will not hide the gift. He will not be lifted up to place the lamp under a bushel basket. He knows where my word belongs.
Suddenly, a new light will shine forth, a surprise, a new help for my children who are so confused by the darkness of the world. I will raise up this pope and prophet for my little ones who believe that I can speak directly to them.

  1. I hope and pray that the next Pope will be a holy man of God and the most important thing for us is to pray and stay close to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Locutions are not important now, but only Prayer and lots of it because we are entering a great tribulation, we can see this ourselves in our world today. No visionary needs to tell us that. If our eyes are open we can see each day the hatred towards the Church and the sins all around us in the world. Let us pray to remain faithful and persevere to the end. May the Lord have mercy on us.

  2. The world is in shock over the election of Pope Francis I, I'm not because after reading these locutions I truly believe that the Blessed Mother is Guiding this humble servant. Praise be to God....

  3. Thank you so very much for giving us the privilege of sharing in these divine messages. They are such a blessing! May we all continue to give thanks and praise to the Lord God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and thanks to our Blessed Mother for their love, guidance and protection. Our Blessed Mother has asked us to pray the rosary and we should faithfully do that. Let us continue to ask and thank St. Michael the Archangel and all of the Archangels and Guardian Angels for their protection and direction, too. We must remember to ask each day for forgiveness of our sins and try to live a life worthy of the promises of Christ. The sacrament of confession is another gift that we have been given. How grateful we are to have our sins forgiven! Those who are covered by the blood of the Lamb, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, are truly blessed! Receiving His body and blood in the gift of Holy Communion during mass is a true sacrament and we should receive this Holy Sacrifice each day to the best of our ability. It is such a joy to receive our Lord. May we be nourished by His Living Word, also, in the Bible each day as He speaks to us. Let us spread His Good News as we love and serve our brothers and sisters in our families, at work, at school, in our communities and throughout the world. May all glory and praise be given to our Lord with hearts full of love and faith. Let us give thanks and pray, pray, pray each and every day for all of our brothers and sisters and His will to be done. We pray in our Jesus' name. Amen.

  4. In these locutions it was told the conclave would be very long and it would take a long time to find the chosen one. But it was one of the shortest conclave in history. Did our Blessed Mother make a mi
    stake?

    1. Thank you for your comment. I searched for the message you referenced, but couldn't find it. Which one is it? Thank you in advance.

    2. yes, previously the TITLE of that locution did say a long conclave. Since the conclave the title was changed. The title does NOT come from Jesus or Mary but I think it comes from the locutionist. So the mistake does not come from Jesus or Mary

  5. Francis is not the Pope that the seer is referring to in these Locutions. These Locutions are most likely true. I am a Marian Visionary myself.

  6. Until recently, on the LTTW site there was an introduction which set out Msgr Esseff's involvement but this has been removed and there is nothing about him on the website. Does anyone know why this is the case? Does he no longer support the locutionist?

    1. Thank you for pointing this out. I hadn't noticed it as I do not follow these messages. I originally posted them because I felt they were worthy of consideration since a respected clergy member was promoting them. I have the same questions you do, and will put up a new article asking these very same questions.

  7. I, too, have wondered why the intro. to Msgr. Esseff (and his photo) are no longer to be found on the Locutions to the World website. Since his directorship of the seer previously gave instant credibility, I used that information when trying to spread the messages. I can no longer spread the messages the way I once did. There is a glaring lack of any mention on the website regarding Church oversight, or permission, etc.

I can no longer find any reference to the seer having a spiritual director, or to the seer's submission to any legitimate Church authority. Msgr Esseff's previous inclusion and involvement covered these crucial aspects for "Locutions to the World." Having a spiritual director is indeed critical for any alleged "locutions" or "messages." I hope we can soon resolve this important question about the very noticeable absence of any reference to Msgr Esseff's directorship, or to some sort of submission to Church authorities, on the LTTW website.

    1. I hadn't noticed that Monsignor Esseff is no longer on the website promoting these locutions. This tells me we should avoid these messages. Perhaps he found reason to create a distance from them, whether a superior ordered him to cease promoting them, or now considers them false. Thank you for pointing this out, and I will put an updated article out regarding this development.

  8. I have read these locutions for a few years and still dont know what to make of them. I did write to Msgr Esseff mid 2013 and he responded saying that if LOTW help my faith then receive them - if not, set them aside as we dont have to believe private revelations. I have tried to discern whether they are legitimate or not - but I just dont know. All I can say is that for Msgr Esseff's involvement in the reporting of the locutions to have been removed from the website - must say something.

    1. I know as much as you do. Because your comment and that of another reader alerted me to the fact that Monsignor Esseff's name is off the website, I sent an email to his website asking why. I was told he was unavailable until late November. I will email him again next month. There has been no Church statement on these messages as far as I know, and so there is no harm in reading them, but if there is anything that contradicts Catholic doctrine we are to reject them. One thing is noted; These messages are in direct contradicion to the messages of false seer Maria Divine Mercy whose messages HAVE BEEN condemned by her local bishop. Locutions claimed Mary said that the new pope would come from her own heart. Maria Divine Mercy said the new pope would be the "false prophet." Pope Francis is indeed a very special man with a soft heart that reflects heaven, so, even though I have no real opinions on the truth or falsity of the Locutions messages, I agree that he is a man from Mary's heart! I will keep you updated if I hear from Monsignor Esseff. God bless!

    2. Something to ponder. I have read the LOTW extensively, and the messages every so often allege Mary stating that She is waiting for the Pope to consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart. St. Pope John Paul II has already done so, and Sister Lucia of Fatima was asked about it, & she stated it was done sufficiently.

    3. I believe the removal is not because Monsignor Esseff has disassociated himself from locutions .org because this site M.R.is also His doing so why is this site still continue w/all the original info & picture?? It may be to concentrate the longtime readers more on Our Ladys'important on going messages while Mon.Esseff makes himself a bit more low profiled.Mon.Esseff has truly lent locutions site creditably but as a true servant of God & Our Lady, he remains a humble Priest allowing Our Ladys' guidance to act now through the indwelling Holy Spirit of the readers...just my opinion...thx & Merry Christmas to one and all!

    4. i have found out that as of this date Mons. Esseff is still 100% behind these locutions. i think he downplayed his association because he was "getting mobbed" by the questions and it interfered with his ministry.

  9. Your opinion, John, is my opinion. I believe every word --- these words of Jesus and Our Lady fill my heart with Peace. When something does not come from God there is no sense of Peace . So I am filled with gratitude and pray that all of us will draw closer and closer to our Father in Heaven and live our faith as Jesus wants us to.

  10. I have made some more enquiries and apparently the LTTW website is not just sanctioned by Msgr Esseff, but it is his website so everything put up there is because he publishes the messages. I dont know why he removed his bio details from the homepages, but given that its his website, then it would seem that he hasnt withdrawn approval at all, and that he continues to liaise with the locutionist and comment on the messages.
I have never read anything that was contrary to Church teaching so that gives me a great deal of comfort. There has always been controversy on whether Russia was properly consecrated and personally, from everything I have read I think that it properly wasnt as it was never named specifically. I have to go back and read a book on Fatima - and to start the first Saturday devotion and ramp up my prayer life.

    1. If Russia had been concentrated, then why the continued abortions, alcoholism, and the intrusion of Putin into any country he wants. It very clear to see "there is no peace in Russia. Pray for her and pray for the Pope to consecrate her to Our Blessed Mother.

    2. Pope St. John Paul II did consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary during his papacy, but not all bishops joined him in this consecration. The consecration was not as powerful as it would have been had all bishops unanimously joined him.

      Delete
    3. How is it possible to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, if "Russia" is never mentioned. Pope John Paul II conducted a "Consecration of all Individuals and Peoples of the World" (https://www.ewtn.com/library/papaldoc/consecra.htm#John Paul II, 1984) but Russia was never mentioned by name at that time.

It remains to be accomplished in the future. Let us pray for the pope to listen to the words or Our Lady.

  11. Please personally talk to Msgr. John to hear the reason from him directly. I know someone who did (last month). He is still on board and fully supports that special project. I'm not sure if I can post his reasons here but you can hear from him directly if you ask him. God bless everyone!

  13. I have been reading these locutions since thier inception. I am concerned that there is no Nihil Obstat or Imprimatur. Although this is a Blog and not a book the Locutions are now in book form and being sold on Amazon. Without any approval by the local Bishop I have concern.

  14. Why are the publishing of the locutions now taking so long to put on the web site. There for a long time they were 2-3 times a week. Now they take approximately 7- 8 or 9 days. ?

  15. I have been reading the locutions since October 2014. If they had been coming from Jesus, I would be 110% believing. BUT...my problem is they do not sound like Mary. To me, she has always kept to the background, and always, always points to her Son, Jesus. In these locutions, she talks about MY gifts, MY grace, MY light, MY salvation. Yes, once in a while, she mentions that the Father has given these to her and that she is just a creature, but she doesn't talk enough about Jesus to suit me. Jesus is the Savior, not Mary. She says no one will be able to get through the darkness without her help. Duh? My money is on Jesus, my trust is in Jesus. He is the Savior, He is the One Way. The past few days, she talks about she is only the candle and Jesus is the Flame. That is true, but when she says, "The candle comes first, then the flame. Who would try to take the flame into their own hands? That is foolishness. Only harm would result." then I must part company. Jesus, the Flame, came first. He was there at the beginning of time. Jesus, the Flame has lived in my heart for over thirty years (the first 3 years was outside the Catholic Church and Mary had no part of my walk.). I was NEVER harmed by my direct relationship with Jesus.
Mary is great. A wonderful Mother and companion, but I doubt the Father would give this mission totally into her hands. The things Mary is supposed to have said in these locutions is one of the prime reasons the Protestants are against the Church-in practice (not in doctrine) many of us give too much credit to Mary, who is only a creature, after all. Go back and read Revalations, Chapter 12. The woman clothed with the sun is not the one who saves anything. She gave birth, the male child was taken up to heaven, and she went and hid in the desert in a place prepared for her. "the dragon was over come by the Blood of the Lamb," not by His mother.

    1. While I agree with your basic reasoning, the New Eve does participate with the New Adam in accomplishing Redemption, just as Eve participated with Adam in the Downfall. The problem is when we look at the Mission of the Holy Spirit compared to that of the Mission of the Son--or rather that many people do not look at the Mission of the Holy Spirit... Mary, in a very real sense, shows forth the Mission of the Holy Spirit. Therein, more Marian-centric language comes about versus Christo-centric. I can empathize where that would rub many people, especially ex-Protestants the wrong way. I think once the basic premise is made that Mary is no way the author of redemption and in fact is only such in complete relation to Her Son, then some flexibility in metaphors is allowable: candle/flame.

On a personal note, I have struggled with these messages since Benedict resigned. They feel too much like an Americo-centric, pro-Republican diatribe against world leaders with all too much specifity on world events, that so easily then leap to esoteric knowledge about this or that chosen one [priests or pope or what not]. It is that oddly very political specificity mixed with the esoteric that unsettles me most--more than the firm opinion that Pope St John Paul's consecration of the world did not count. (But again, that too touches upon the same esoteric nature of these messages: they don't feel universal to all people!)

  16. I was told by several "religious priest and nuns" through the years that the Nihil Obstat or imprimatur is not granted on miraculous visions, including Lourdes, Fatima, Medjugore or other appearances of the Blessed Mother..as well as locutions such as this. The Church says we are
free to believe or not believe, but their imprimatur is given to NONE. If I am wrong, please state your sources and proof from the Church. Therefore, look to the Holy Spirit in prayer to guide you, but , personally, my questions is IF the consecration was done "correctly as Mary requested" WHERE is that PEACE????This world is NOT at peace! I believe them valid.

    1. In 1966 two items in Canon law were changed saying that an imprumater was not needed to publish so long as there is nothing against faith and morals.

Mary is the co mediatrix of all grace so these are her gifts, her graces etc

  17. The only thing I see an issue with is that I keep hearing about "My Power." JESUS is the power and I believe Mary to more humble than is projected in the locutions.
