Eliminate Spiritual Drama!

Many of us like searching out prophetic apparitions and locutions, especially if the messages support our ideology of what makes a “good” Church and a “proper” mass, and includes the added spice of a peek into the world's cataclysmic future.  We strive to be "insiders" on the hidden story of what’s going on in heaven, not unlike a child who jumps at the opportunity to view the mysterious workings in the cockpit of an airplane. Once aware, Catholics make it their mission to share their knowledge with others and even give them printouts of their amazing uber-spiritual discoveries. If only special prayers are prayed, or particular actions are taken, or special objects are purchased or prepared, then a chosen selection of people will be the special saved ones. Oh, what comfort we take in feeling bad for all those other poor souls who don’t know what we know.  We share the messages, and utter a faux sad “tsk, tsk, we shall pray for them,” when they refuse our offer of God’s protection.

Thus it is with the messages of an anonymous European seer with a convoluted provenance whose false name I am loathe to say. Special prayers and a downloaded piece of paper displaying a stock photo image of a red wax seal will guarantee your safety when the “false prophet” changes Church doctrine and creates the “one world religion,” rejecting Catholic doctrine, thus forcing the “good” Catholics who are in on the messages into refuges for masses.  Never mind that Pope Francis has not done or said anything contrary to Catholic doctrine and is upholding and strengthening the Magisterium of the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church while teaching us through his actions how to be Jesus to each other.

Ah, but searching out spiritual drama is so much more exciting and salient than being an ordinary Catholic and living an ordinary life.

Earliest morning dawn mass, a weekday. I observe the elderly woman entering church, no veil on her head, unpretentious grey hair walking slowly with bit of a limp and taking a seat near the front. I observe another woman. Purple plastic beads around her neck matching the floral purple dress she is wearing.  Her lipstick is always perfect and her short conservative hair is neatly coiffed. I observe the man with the dun colored raincoat entering, bible clutched and rosary beads peeking out from his hand, hair on his head standing up a bit.  A man in a neat shirt and jeans sits at the very end of his pew near the side door, prepared to make a quick exit to make it on time for work immediately after the final blessing.  A woman presses her lips together and imperceptibly shakes her head in disapproval at the twelve year old altar server wearing neon colored sneakers trotting toward the sacristy, late, just before start of mass.

These are the ordinary Catholics who make up the Body of Christ.  The future saints. No secret messages, no pomp and circumstance, no spiritual drama.  All are here because they trust in Jesus who said He would come to them in the Blessed Sacrament of the altar at every mass, every day, in every Catholic church in the world.

I strive to emulate these ordinary Catholics; their simplicity, their trust, their acceptance. I want my hunger for spiritual drama to make way for the profundity of the mundane. I want to be like Jesus Who grew up in what was considered an ordinary family, spent time with ordinary people and, until his public ministry, did ordinary things.  It is from ordinariness that God can work the extraordinary.  This is the miracle of God.

Jesus teaches us to find Him…in the ordinary.

  1. How can you not realize the hypocrisy of your own words, and efforts! You talk about ordinary Catholics, no pomp and circumstance, no spiritual drama, but the tremendous effort you put into trashing the Warning to mankind is anything but simplicity! How are you practicing what you preach? There are pages with images all carefully selected propaganda! False propaganda.

So many words spoken, so many quotes, so many mistakes, distortions, exaggerations, lies. Outrageous.

    1. My article is not hypocrisy at all. The glaring doctrinal errors to the Catholic faith in the MDM messages are clear to see for those who make an honest effort to read them critically and not simplyl blindly defend them. My efforts in refuting the false messages of Maria Divine Mercy are to help Catholics see these errors and run far from them. It is our duty as Catholics to help keep each other from straying into dangerous waters, especially the whirlpool of schism that she promotes by calling good Pope Francis, our Vicar of Christ, the “false prophet”, the “imposter”, the “evil” that has infiltrated the church and worse. I welcome the day that this woman who is completely anonymous and yet spreads her poisonous messages across the globe via the world wide web and refuses to submit them to the proper ecclesiastical authorities quits her nonsense and leaves Catholics in peace.

    2. Mr Anonymous...You need to be taking a look at some of the crazy messages from your new leader

When Simon was first introduced to Jesus, Jesus said, “You are Simon the son of J
Matt 18-17 “And if he will not hear them: tell the church. And if he will NOT HEAR the church, let him be to thee as the heathen and publican”

St. Francis de Sales…..”By these words Our Lord shows the perpetuity and immovableness of this foundation. The stone on which one raises the building is the first, the others rest on it. Other stones may be removed without overthrowing the edifice, but he who takes away the foundation, knocks down the house. If then the gates of hell [see Mt 16:18] can in no wise prevail against the Church, they can in no wise prevail against its foundation and head, which they cannot take away and overturn without entirely overturning the whole edifice”

St Francis is explaining that the “other stones may be removed” without the building falling apart, but if the foundation stone, the “Rock” “Peter”.. is removed then the house will fall down. But can this happen? Here is what Jesus says…

.”….and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” This is an absolute promise from the Son of God Himself! No one can overturn the foundation stone..the “Rock” Matt 16:18

Building on this “Rock” is vital, hence Jesus tells us that “..there was a foolish man who built on sand and the wise man who built on rock. Matt. 7:24. The wise man who built on the “Rock” was the man who listened to Christ and His Church.

19 “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matt 16:19

Notice that the promise of the keys is immediately followed by the words… “Whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth”, etc. ..Meaning the authority over the whole Church, which includes the power to forgive or withhold sins, and the power to change disciplines, not doctrines, which can never change because they are founded on the written Word of God. This power then to “bind and loose” was not given to Peter alone, but to all the apostles and their successors, whereby we can be freed of our sins in the Sacrament of penance when the priest absolves us.

Now, if the Church does not hold these “Keys,” can sins still be forgiven in the Church? Obviously the answer is No! The power is not there anymore so confessing to a priest would be useless! Though we know this can never happen because Christ promised to never leave the Church, and there is no prophecy in Scripture which teaches that the Church will come to an end, in fact it tells us just the opposite..”I will build my Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it” This means that His Church will never be destroyed and will never fall away from Him.

Now if we read the messages of Maria Divine Mercy we read that the “Keys” have supposedly gone back to heaven! “The keys of Rome have been returned to my Father, God the Most High who will rule from the Heavens.” (March 20th 2012)

Remember without the “Keys” there is no “Rock” There is no Church. The House has fallen down! We are being asked to believe that we can no longer receive absolution in the Sacrament of Reconciliation!

Breathe a sigh of relief people because thankfully we know that Christ will keep His promise to always be with His Church. She is the light shining on a hill, and though She will be battered from within and without She will survive.

“And he hath subjected all things under his feet, and hath made him head over all the church, 23 Which is his body, and the fulness of him who is filled all in all.” Eph 1:22

If the Church held no power then Christ is Head over what? Rubble!

“That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy, and without blemish.” For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, as also Christ doth the church” Eph 5-27

    3. Janet, to say "my new leader" is pure conjecture and a dirty tactic. I have but one leader who is the holy trinity including God the father, Jesus my one and only savior, and the Holy Spirit. -Robert.

    4. Hi Anon...A "dirty tactic"...Don't be silly! You follow her commands in the writings. She tells you to do this and do that. She tells you the Pope is false. No doubt about it anon she is your new leader!

      God Bless

  2. Anonymous, If you have any substantial proof when, where, how and what we have said that is a distortion, exaggeration or lie about Mdm's messages kindly point it out with accurate documentation. Don't bother making ad hominem attacks.

Lovey, wrote a beautiful meditation and you used it as an opportunity to tar and feather her. On many occasions, you and your fellow Mdm disciples have made similar attacks with absolutely nothing to back yourselves up but feelings of hurt and outrage. Forget your feelings and show us the facts folks. Show us exactly when and where Pope Urban made that extraordinary claim it is better to believe prophecy even if it proves false . . . Enough with the endless knee jerk denials that Mdm never made this or that statement. If you are defending her and ready to bet your eternal destiny on her promises, it behooves you to know and understand every word she says.

In the interest of fairness and honesty, we have made the effort to provide dates and quotes so that readers have the opportunity to go back and reread the original text. As the intent is to reveal exactly what Mdm is saying, many of her nonsensical, mindless or repetitive words - found in between clauses or tagged on to Mdm's sentences - are removed. It is only done for purposes of clarity and brevity. Both the meaning and the integrity of her sentences are assiduously respected. There is no need for anyone to lie or exaggerate. Mdm is her own worse enemy. Furthermore, far from exaggerating Mdm, a lot of what has been said on this blog has been an understatement. As a result of our self-constraint, your seer has frequently come out sounding better than she deserves. The fact of the matter is, it is humanly impossible to address every single blasphemy, presumption, error, heresy and innuendo so characteristic of Mdm. When measured against the original warning Second Coming website and factoring in the blasphemy of impersonating God and the Blessed Mother to curse the Church, everything we have said pales in comparison. In other words, words fail to describe the enormity of the insult Mdm is to the Church: the sacramental sign and instrument of God's grace to the world.

    1. pocketsketch my comment has only to do with the hypocrisy of preaching about being an "ordinary Catholic" or "living an ordinary life" when it comes from the side that creates endless propaganda against a single web site which posts messages! If you listen to lovey you would stop your EXTRAORDINARY crusade against the prophetic message! You people ( lovey, pocketsketch, and others) create entire web sites with photos, stories and quotes, or as I choose to say false propaganda. Rarely do I use the word hypocrite or hypocrisy but I feel it is appropriate here. An ordinary Catholic might simply ignore something they do not believe. And if you absolutely must voice your opinion, that you don't believe it, it could be done in an ordinary way, not a crusade!

The scribes and pharisees that had Jesus crucified could have ignored him too and maybe waited to see if He would just go away but hatred did not allow that alternative did it?

    1. Chris, are you referring to the Anon who made the first comment? To say "case for MDM" really seems like you are dragging something else into this. Anyway- if so, because I did not include -Robert is that how you draw your conclusion? And because you included "Chris" doe that make you accountable, well argued and brave?

  5. First, we are not to despise any brothers, sisters, family members or relatives who have followed the false Prophet, Mary Carberry. Our enemies are not of flesh and blood, but of the spiritual order and nature. Each of these children of the Church are beloved of God, and so should be our same response towards them. The true enemy of God is Satan who wants to see divisions within the sacred body.

Prophecy of Marie Julie Jahenny.... "During the time of the approach of the punishments announced at La Salette, an unlimited amount of false revelations will arise from Hell like a swarm of flies; a last attempt of Satan to choke and destroy the belief in the true revelations by false ones."

I pray now that the information given below will show the followers of Maria Divine Mercy that her visions are truly coming from hell!

We know from various witnesses that Mary Carberry was involved with the well known psychic/medium, Joe Coleman. It is also true that before meeting him she never had any 'visions. She was with him, according to credible witnesses, when he began receiving the apparitions at Knock shrine, and helped with the promotion of his book 'The Message' Now, according to her, she did not have a good knowledge of the faith, so it is understandable that she would be naive when it came to discerning the falsehood of a psychic turned visionary.

According to one witness who knew her personally,...."Joe Coleman's infestation definitely spilled onto Mary Carberry and soon she too began to have visions. In fact a number of people associated with this Medium, Joe Coleman began to have visions including Keith who was killed in a car accident. "

The information was available on Joe's website, but I think has now been conveniently removed, obviously because Joe now wants all former connections with Mary forgotten! However I do have a copy of a previous private message from Joe on Face Book concerning Mary Carberry.

Here is the question asked of him regarding Mary's photo...

"Have you seen the photo of Mary c on the Internet? I don't think it's her cos I heard she was older."

    18:53

Well, she needs to be very careful as people are now talking! Hopefully she will now retreat from deluding so many people. Our wonderful Pope has taken some bashing from her ...Thanks Joe, God bless you
    Joe Coleman"
    18:55
    Joe Coleman
"I will keep you in my prayers God bless ,,joe"

A further message...."She is being heavily associated with you..can you confirm any truth in this?”

Coleman responded, [stet] “Yes this is true, it is all over the internet, I have not seen or heard of her [Mary] in three years now, but I pray for her that she will turn back to God, the devil works in many ways to deceive people and keep them from the truth, any way I am good so far have to try stay in the state of grace, thank you for your concern I send you Mothers love and Blessings, joe Coleman peace by yours amen.”

Let me just please say here that both Joe Coleman and Mary Carberry are not nasty people, they truly believe they are receiving messages from heaven...but as we know heaven does not work with psychics!

Below is a letter sent to Ron Conte....

"I am the second visionary. We both see Our Lady as well as her beloved son
Jesus Christ. I also see a nun during the apparitions which I have been
led to believe is Sister Faustina the Polish nun who are given a prayer of
the Divine Mercy to prepare the world for the Second Coming back in the
1930's. Visions of St Philomena and St Bernadette have also occured from
time to time. They are becoming more pronounced and more frequent in
    recent weeks.

Neither of us knew each other in advance and come from different types of
backgrounds and education. One this for sure is that the apparitions not
only happened but many of them were witnessed by quite a few people. We
receive messages every month. From the beginning Our Lady asked that we
publish them. Joe has gone public - I manage the website but have not gone
public because I dont have the courage to tell you the truth. Nor could I
put my family through what Joe's family had to endure when he went public.

The Catholic Church have banned us from Knock in Co Mayo where the sun
began to spin and shake in the sky after each apparition predicted in
    advance.

Neither of us have ever read the Bible (because as Catholics for some
reason it is not taught in schools - yes this is true). Yet the messages
received all relate to biblical prophecies which did not make sence in the
beginning. but now, of course, they do.

Either way after a very tough year in which our lives have been turned
upside down and inside out - riducled, laughed at, mocked and banned along
with all the genuine believers from entering the Catholic Church in the
grotto at Knock, the messages, are of huge significance for the world as
the Second Coming of Christ is about to take place. No date has been
given nor will it Our Lady says. But the time is very close now.

We have been given YEARS but not dates regarding the Second Coming. The
Tribulation has already started. The second half starts at the end of
2012/beginning of 2013 and will last four years until 2016. The 'Trinity
Years' as the period was referred to by the Holy Spirit will last from
2013-2018 the sign of the beast 666. The first six relates to the one
world economy. The second six relates to a new world leader - the
anti-christ and the last six relates to the abolition of all religions
into one new false religion. Reference was also made to the lifting up
into the clouds but it was not clear. It seems to refer to the year 2013
    but we are not sure.

Visions have also been given to Joe about future events, places, cities,
and islands which will all be destroyed. In your writing you have been
accurate in one you predicted but we have not gone public with those "

Mary Carberry falsely predicted... The second half of the tribulations starts at the end of 2012... But we haven't seen the first half yet!

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12: "Whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in all power, and signs, and lying wonders, And in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish; because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying. That all may be judged who have not believed the truth, but have consented to iniquity."

I'm not going to post here on all the errors and contradictions because many of you refuse to look at them. Just remember though, that Satan can work false signs and God allows, or maybe even forces him, to make mistakes, so that those who really want the truth can see that the messages are deceptions coming from the evil one.

  8. I love this post, Rosary - brings tears to my eyes - but I have to differ on one point - Jesus did spend time with some not so "ordinary" people....the Blessed Virgin Mary was far from ordinary, seeing how she was "conceived without sin" and her most chaste spouse Joseph was not far behind....both far from "ordinary" : ) -- but being God, Jesus did deserve to have such "heavenly" parents, a grace of God and comfort to His Heart.

    1. Thank you for your correction, Victoria. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph were indeed NOT ordinary! My writing skills could be far better, and when I wrote, "I want to be like Jesus Who grew up in WHAT WAS CONSIDERED to be an ordinary family," I wanted to point out that although they were extraordinary, the Holy Family lived and worked just like us ordinary people, and those with whom they interacted were indeed ordinary. I should have been much clearer! God bless!
